Description
Seventy-five centimetres of teak turns a serving board into a centrepiece. This Buscot board runs along a table at 75 by 15 cm, which suits a row of cheeses, a line of tapas or a bread and charcuterie spread, while staying narrow enough to sit between plates rather than replace them.
It is made of FSC-certified teak with a golden to medium brown surface that deepens in tone as the wood ages, so it looks better after a year of use than on the day it arrives. Teak carries a high natural oil content, which gives the board strong protection against decay and keeps it in condition with very little care. At 1.5 cm thick it is solid enough to cut on as well as serve from.
Long boards are gifts for people who host. Companies use them for client entertaining gifts, year-end thank-you presents and senior employee milestones, and they suit wine merchants, delicatessens, restaurant groups and kitchen brands who want a branded item that appears on a table in front of guests. They also make credible prizes in hospitality campaigns and referral programmes.
Laser engraving into teak leaves a permanent mark with no coating to wear away, and a logo placed at one end stays visible even when the board is fully loaded. MerchRepublic engraves, packs individually and delivers bulk orders across the EU, and can supply it alongside the wider Buscot range for a matched kitchen set.
