Consent mode: what happens when you decline
This website uses Google Consent Mode v2. Google's tag
(gtag.js) is loaded on every page, but what it is
allowed to do depends on the choice you make in the cookie
banner.
If you choose Only essentials, or make no choice at all, the tag runs with analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation all set to denied. In that state it writes no cookies and reads none, it does not create or use an advertising identifier, and it does not build a profile of you. It still sends Google a cookieless signal that a page was viewed and, where applicable, that a request form was submitted. That signal carries no cookie, no advertising identifier, and none of the contact details you may have typed — no e-mail address, phone number or name. It is also flagged as non-personalised. According to Google, signals received in this state are used only to model results in aggregate.
If you choose I agree, the same events are sent with consent granted: the optional cookies listed in the table above may then be stored, and a submitted request may additionally be reported to Google Ads together with irreversible (SHA-256) digests of the contact details you entered, so that the request can be attributed to an advertisement. Those digests are never produced or sent while consent is denied.
