We publish one Karst item, the A5 stone paper hardcover notebook with lined pages, positioned above the plain notebooks we carry. It is the most expensive notebook in our catalogue and the only one where the paper itself is the story rather than the cover. The hardcover format holds up in a bag, and the water resistant pages are a practical advantage for anyone writing outdoors or on site.
This is the notebook to choose when the recipient list is small and the material claim has to stand up: sustainability report launches, ESG events, board and partner gifts, or an environmental team welcome pack. It is produced from mineral powder rather than wood pulp, which is why the pages are described as tree free and water resistant.
Does a normal pen work on stone paper?
Yes. The surface is smooth and takes standard ballpoint and gel pens, though the writing feel differs from wood pulp paper.
Why does this notebook cost more than the others you carry?
The stone paper material and the hardcover construction put it several times above our entry level A5 notebook.
Can the cover be debossed rather than printed?
Yes, deboss on the hardcover is the usual choice for this notebook and is included in the price.
Are the pages lined or blank?
The version we publish is the lined A5 hardcover. Other layouts can be checked with the supplier at quotation.
