JournalBooks is a notebook label made for the promotional market, where the requirement is a dependable writing book that takes branding cleanly and can be ordered in quantity. The range is built around familiar formats rather than novelty, and the covers are specified so that print and deboss both work on them.
We publish one JournalBooks item, the Classic A5 soft cover notebook, priced for high volume runs. It uses a flexible thermo PU cover over a comfortable A5 writing block, which is the format most people expect from a branded notebook: light enough for a bag, large enough to be used in meetings. At this price it sits in the volume end of our stationery selection, below the Moleskine and Karst options we also carry.
Notebooks of this type are ordered for training courses, conferences, onboarding packs, university and public sector programmes and any event where every attendee gets the same item. They are also the standard filler in a two or three item gift set alongside a pen or a bottle.
Minimum quantity is 10 pieces, and branding is included in the price with no setup fee, applied as a print or deboss on the soft cover. What is a thermo PU cover?

Can we deboss instead of printing the logo?
Yes. Deboss gives a quieter, more premium finish on a soft cover and is included in the price like any other method.
How does this compare with the Moleskine notebooks you carry?
It is the volume option, while the Moleskine hardcover formats cost noticeably more and carry far higher brand recognition. Per-piece prices depend on quantity and are shown on each product page.
Is the paper ruled or plain?
The Classic A5 uses a standard writing block. We confirm the ruling and page count at quotation.
Can we print full colour on the cover?
Multi-colour print is possible on the soft cover. We show the achievable result on a mock-up before production.
